Once again, Offchurch trained, Warwick University played excellantly.
Mike Hobday from SUPA wrote 'The other large area is for the Novices, for all students who do not have a handicap or are max -2. This Section was supported by long term sponsors, Akuma Polo. Warwick continued their domination in this area by again taking the title, the MVP, Heather Lacey was instrumental in their victories throughout. '
Warwick also bagged a 3rd in beginner 1, a 2nd in beginner 2 and along with the 1st in Novice 1, also a 4th in Novice 1a. Offchurch Burys own team also were 3rd in the SAPA Upper. We look forward to once again holding the prestigious SUPA Summer Nationals at Offchurch in June.

Another beautiful summer at Offchurch saw record breaking numbers of Members and also our highest ever uptake of Warwick University students learning Polo! Grant has been busy and patient teaching many people to start playing - some that had never sat on a horse!
The SUPA University polo tournament was hosted - once again by Offchurch. The action was fast (sometimes) and the parties wild! It went without say that this exciting event was enjoyed by many hundeds of students from all over the country. We hope to host the event again next June.
The Offchurch Bury Arena clubhouse is now installed and the Tournament dates are now set on the Fixtures page. Arena polo is exciting and fast and helps players to develop tactical skills and brush up on riding style. We have ponies fit and ready and raring to play the Winter season! SEE YOU THERE!

The season of 2009 ended with a glorious weekend for The Prim Palmer Cup. The play was fast and fun with some fantastic action. Blenheim Palace team were the victors of the day! A final party was a lovely end to a fantastic year.
Fantastic results at both the La Martina National Polo Championships June and The UK National Women’s Tournament in August have kept the club as busy as ever.
The Prim Palmer Cup kept up the standard with two days of fantastic, action packed polo.
Tess and Grant have had a busy winter of fantastic Arena Polo. More people than ever this year have enjoyed playing in the Offchurch Arena and the horses are looking amazing.
La Martina SUPA University tournamant in Somerset saw Offchurch Ponies and Edingburugh University win the open! It was a fabulous match to watch and we think the Offchurch ponies had the oposition very worried and their skill and enjoyment of the game was obvious.
The Spring is here and Tess and Grant are busy preparing the grounds and ponies for another busy season - hope to see you at Offchurch soon!
